Kudos Announces New Board & Executive Heavyweights from Chaordix®, AVG Technologies & MasterCard

Calgary, AB (July 16, 2014) – Kudos® is proud to announce their executive team and board are expanding as quickly as the organization is growing. Recent additions of talented, experienced and globally recognized entrepreneurs are helping guide Kudos through a major growth spurt in both company size and product offering.

The newly appointed executive team and board members are:

Executive Vice President:

Jim Gibson – Gibson joins Kudos from Chaordix, a leading-edge crowdsourcing company, where he oversaw global revenue and major global partnerships as the company’s EVP. With over 25 years of entrepreneurial success, Gibson first earned esteem for his role as one of the founders and former CEO of PURUS Technologies Inc., which established one of the world’s first Collaborative Decision Management platforms.

Board of Directors:

Todd Simpson – Formerly the Chief of Innovation at Mozilla Inc., Simpson is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at AVG Technologies. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and as an author of numerous patents and papers, Simpson joins the board with more than 20 years of invaluable business and technology expertise.

Alfan Jetha – Jetha is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of RxSource. For over 12 years, Jetha has been using his vast experience to innovate the global pharmaceutical industry, and works closely with hospitals and clinics around the world to boost quality and efficiency in pharmaceutical procurement.

Advisory Board:

Zahir Khoja – Khoja is currently the Vice President, Global Channels at MasterCard focused on developing markets. Prior to joining MasterCard, Khoja was the Executive Director for Mobile Commerce at Roshan, Afghanistan’s leading total communications provider and President for M-Paisa, Afghanistan’s first commercially-licensed mobile money service. His work in Afghanistan has won him several awards including the 2011 GSMA Best Mobile Money for the Unbanked (joint award with Vodafone), and 2011 Telecom Asia’s Best Community Based. Khoja has also held several additional senior-level positions at Virgin Mobile, TELUS and Pepsi Cola in Canada.
